Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hoi An To Hue
- At 07:30 am: Our driver will collect you from the lobby at your hotel/homestay in Hoi An.
- Upon arrival in Hue, we are going to visit Tu Duc Tomb, one of the most beautiful mausoleums of the Ancient Capital. With its refined architecture enveloped by the lush greenery of forested hills, the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc is beautiful like a picturesque landscape painting. Discover the peaceful and poetic beauty of the mausoleum by walking around and listening to the tour guide tell the historical stories behind it.
- Then rest and have lunch at a local restaurant, enjoying delicious traditional Hue cuisine
- The afternoon will be a trip to explore Hue Imperial Citadel – recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage, discovering the unique and massive architecture of the Royal Family of the Nguyen Dynasty. Then we will visit Thien Mu Pagoda located on a hill next to the romantic Perfume River, the oldest ancient pagoda in Hue and a symbol of this heritage city of Hue.
- At the end of the journey to explore Hue city, the car will take you back to the hotel in the city center to rest and prepare for the second day’s journey.
Day 2: Hue – DMZ – Hoi An
- At 8:00 am: Begin with an early morning pick-up from the hotel in Hue and drive along the coastal area to go to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).
- This space is set in the rugged, jungle-shrouded mountains along the Viet Nam – Laos border of South Viet Nam. Our tour will proceed with a visit to Quang Tri Citadel, Hien Luong Bridge and the Seventeenth Parallel – the previous borderline between North and South Viet Nam during the Viet Nam Battle.
- We’ll then go to Vinh Moc Tunnels, which had been used to shelter folks from the extreme bombings during the Viet Nam Battle and Con Tien Firebase.
- Afterward, our driver will drop you off hotel in Hoi An.
