Our driver Mr Anthony Mai drove us on the scenic route by way of the Hai Van Pass from Hoi An to Hue. alongside the way in which we stopped at Elephant Springs, Lang Co Beach and the Hai Van Pass lookout points to take photos. At Hue, he drove us to go to the sights like Emperor’s Tomb, Citadel and the Imperial Hue City.

The experience was very pleasant and comfy with cold water and wifi supplied. Anthony is a patient person and cautious driver with a very good command of English. We felt safe in his car and had an awesome time. Totally recommend!

Loc picked us up from Hoi An and took essentially the most scenic route ever to Hue where we drove through the Hai Van Pass and stopped at an amazing floating seafood restaurant. We had already been to Marble Mountain a few days earlier and so Loc was extraordinarily accommodating by taking us to a wonderful beach as an alternative. He was a superb and safe driver and was also so friendly and kind throughout the whole experience. Having him as a driver undoubtedly made the day a fantastic one. I might definitely recommend your company to our friends

My husband and I (from Singapore) booked a private car for transfer with this company. Our driver is Hieu. He’s punctual, genuine, pleasant and speaks excellent English. Alongside the way from Hoi An to Hue, we chatted quite a lot, he shared with us some Vietnam tradition and comments on a few of the tourist attractions. He introduced us to Elephant Spring, Lang Co and beach Hai Van Pass, we did stop for some good photograph taking alongside the journey. The restaurant he introduced us to at Lang Co beach was worth price, nothing is expensive. We loved his company and thanks for his service, would suggest to my friends. Most of all, we gained of knowing this good friend during this whole journey!! Thanks Hieu 🙂

I found VM travel on TripAdvisor and used their service on the way from Hoi An to Hue. We received the experienced and confident driver, good English, that isn’t so frequent between Vietnamese drivers, comfy car and really interesting journey. We stopped on the Marble mountains for nearly 2 hours and made a few other stops for photographs and drinks. The drive was very pleasant. Thanks to Johny Lee – my excessive respects and gratitude. The very pleasant journey from Hoi An to Hue by car with Johnny as our driver! The car was very comfy with complimentary water and wifi. As we drove, Johnny gave us some cultural insights to our surroundings. He kindly allowed us to stop and take photos on the mountain up to Hai Van Pass as well as at the high (beautiful views and American bunkers). We additionally stopped by an oyster and pearl farming village at a relaxation stop where Johnny recommended us to wait for 20 minutes to take photos closer to sundown. While waiting, we have been greeted by native people and enjoyed a coffee with the lake view. General, nice experience and we’d extremely recommend to those with a little bit of time (overall journey was about 4 hours).

My girlfriend and I were looking for an inexpensive transport company to transfer from Hoi An to Hue. After contacting several companies, we decided to go for VMtravel. We got picked up in the morning by Lai and along the way, he showed us good photo spots and told us about one thing about the places we were passing. From Hoi An to Hue by car, we stopped at the Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Beach (beautiful and quiet!) And we booked for $10 one extra stop, the elephant springs. We may take as much time as we wished at every stop, for swimming and/or sunbathing, making it a very enjoyable, stunning day trip! If we needed any assist or a photographer, we could ask Mr. Lai. He actually did his best to make this trip as good as possible. Additionally, it was a modern (4seat) car with air-conditioning and wifi on board for only $69 (elephant springs included)

Hi there
We are backpackers planning on finding ourselves over the next few months.
As part of the enlightening process we would like to travel from Hoi An to Hue and think this looks amazing.
One question though: will there be enough room within the car to fit 3 large rucksacks?

Hi Georgina,

From Hoi An to Hue is amazing road you must to do when you been Vietnam. We use sedan (Toyota Vios, Hyundai Accent or Chevrolet Cruze) or SUV (Toyota Fortuner or Innova). So it’s fit with your large luggage.

Hope to hear from you!
